Camino Vistas

After far too long a break (thanks Covid19), I have finished my photo book highlighting my time on the Camino de Santiago! I spent almost eight weeks in Spain exploring the Camino Frances and sharing in the joys along the way. The Camino Frances runs approximately 800 kilometers from Saint Jean Pied de Port in France, across the Pyrenees into Spain, and across Spain to Santiago de Compostela. Every year, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims set off on this journey and each one of them has their own reasons for undertaking this adventure. I met a 97 year old man from Japan who was walking the Camino because it was his lifelong dream. I met a couple celebrating their newborn son, who was the youngest pilgrim on the Camino at three months old. I met a monk walking the opposite direction from Santiago to Rome. I met a couple from South Africa enjoying their honeymoon. I met a baseball player who had a career ending injury who was on the Camino trying to decide what was going to be next for his life. The Camino calls to all walks of life and so many answer the call. This book highlights the scenes and the life along the way. Hopefully it will inspire you to maybe make the journey one day yourself!
